The Company Wins the Title of Benchmark Design Unit of National Pipe Network Southwest Pipeline

To promote the construction of key projects, stimulate the labor enthusiasm of employees and participating teams, and promote the spirit of hard work, National Pipe Network Group Southwest Pipeline Co., Ltd. commended the outstanding collectives and individuals in the engineering construction labor competition. Among the 5 design units including CNPC and Sinopec evaluated, our company ranked first and won the title of Benchmark Design Unit. It also won the "Excellent Service Provider" awarded by the Guizhou Project Department, and Liao Zhaolong won the "Advanced Individual".

The Qiannan Prefecture "Counties Connected" project consists of 9 projects, with a total pipeline length of about 256km and 15 stations. Our company undertook 2 projects: the Changming-Fuquan section and the Yunwu Initial Station project, including 74km of pipelines and 3 stations. More than 90% of the areas along these two projects are mountainous terrain. Geological disaster risk points, environmentally sensitive areas, mineral mining/survey areas, etc., have all had a significant impact on the pipeline route. At the same time, there are many complex terrains such as "two mountains flanking a valley" and "slopes above 45°" along the route. These adverse conditions have greatly increased the difficulty of site selection, survey and design, and construction, ranking among the top in terms of technical difficulty among the 9 projects.

Since winning the bid in early December 2020, the project team of our company has overcome difficulties such as tight construction period and heavy tasks, and used the Spring Festival holiday to catch up with the progress, successfully passing the preliminary design review in early March. Subsequently, it immediately invested in the construction drawing design, collected data, and carried out on-site route survey. Despite factors such as rainy and foggy weather on-site, the survey team rushed to complete the route survey on foot, providing a guarantee for the owner to carry out the bidding work smoothly. During the on-site coordination stage, for problems arising on-site, the on-site representatives organized professionals to discuss earnestly and promptly replied with opinions and suggestions.

The efficient work style and timely and thoughtful service awareness of the design personnel have established the image of Huazhi people as being brave in fighting tough battles and responsible in the minds of the owners, winning unanimous praise. This achievement of the "Outstanding Design Service Provider for Qiannan Prefecture 'Counties Connected' Project" is another highlight of Oriental Huazhi's participation in the engineering construction of the oil and gas pipeline industry, and also an affirmation of the hard work of all project team members. Beijing held a grand headquarters relocation ceremony, moving its headquarters to No. 69 Haichuan Road, Tianjin Binhai Economic and Technological Development Zone. Covering an area of 45 mu with a construction area of 25,000 square meters, the new self-built base in Tianjin Binhai includes a four-story R&D and office building spanning 3,400 square meters.

The engineering design of three oil depots in Qingdao Port of OHZEC was awarded the 4A quality project of China Chemical Construction Enterprise Association

Recently, China Chemical Construction Enterprises Association announced the 2023 chemical construction project quality evaluation results, designed by Beijing Oriental Huazhi Petroleum Engineering Co., LTD. Qingdao Port Dongjiakou crude oil commercial reserve project phase II, phase III, Qingdao Port Dongjiakou Port Zhenhua crude oil depot project 3 projects were awarded AAAA quality projects. The crude oil Commercial Reserve project in Dongjiakou Port Area of Qingdao Port has a total storage capacity of 520×10⁴m³, which is divided into three phases. In the first phase, 16 storage tanks (160×10⁴m³ capacity), related supporting facilities and all production and office management auxiliary facilities in the warehouse will be built. Phase II construction of 24 tanks (240×10⁴m³ capacity) and related supporting facilities; Phase III construction of 12 tanks (120×10⁴m³ capacity) and related supporting facilities. The completion and operation of the project has further improved the oil storage and transportation capacity of Dongjiakou Port area, and provided a strong guarantee for the supply of crude oil, fuel oil and diluted bitumen and other raw materials for petrochemical enterprises in the hinterland.
