The Fuxia Project was won in the middle of 2019, involving 6 pipelines of three property rights units, including 3 high-pressure pipelines and 3 medium-pressure pipelines. A total of 7 non-stop pressure-sealing hot tapping operations were carried out during the project.

The construction area of this project has complex terrain, involves many management parties, and has a large amount of local relocation work. It has set records for the company in terms of project scale, technical difficulty, and coordination difficulty. The oil and gas pipelines cross railways twice, expressways 9 times, municipal roads 18 times, various in-service pipelines more than 40 times, and small and medium-sized streams more than 10 times.

The terrain and landforms along the entire line are complex, involving various crossing methods: horizontal directional drilling, pipe jacking, box culvert, reinforced concrete casing, slab culvert, cover plate, open-cut crossing of ponds, open-cut crossing of gravel mountains, etc. There are 18 pipe jacking crossings in total, among which 5 pipe jacking operations encountered boulders during jacking, forcing a change in the jacking method to rock tunnel boring machine crossing. There are 10 horizontal directional drilling crossings in total, among which 2 encountered granite layers and pebble layers during horizontal directional drilling. Due to the geological characteristics of the south, the construction of operation wells is difficult.

At the initial stage of the project, all members of the project department were under great psychological and physical pressure in the face of complex work and tight construction period. With the support and encouragement of the company's leaders, the project team members adjusted their status in a timely manner, carried forward the spirit of Huazhi people who are unyielding and responsible, and overcame difficulties step by step. They completed the preliminary design and construction drawing design of the project in two and a half months and successfully passed the review. They completed the main construction of the project and put it into operation in 9 months, and organized and completed 4 four-seal four-block non-stop pressure-sealing operations in January 2021. This result has been highly affirmed and praised by the Xiamen Municipal Government, project owners, pipeline property rights units, and other parties. It is precisely by virtue of the company's management tenet of integrity, exquisite craftsmanship, efficiency, and innovation, as well as the unity and scientific management of the leadership team and the project team, that this brilliant moment has been achieved.
